GCX Sales Representative / Estimator

Full Job Description:

The Sales Representative is the company's engine – influencing growth and generating direction. The Sales Representative is to pursue new leads, convert leads to paying customers and maintain positive and healthy relationships with existing accounts.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 Years Sales Experience

  • Extensive experience in excavation processes and services

  • Understand why a focus on true quality is the building block to any good production process

  • Excavation estimating experience preferred

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Work, Excel) and general computer skills

  • Experience with Quick Books preferred

  • Strong planning and organization skills

  • Able to remain focused under pressure

  • Creative problem-solver

  • Detail-oriented

  • Self-directed

  • Teachable; able to follow instructions

  • Hardworking, Trustworthy, Humble

Pay: Salary 80K base + Commission DOE

Key Responsibilities

  • Set estimating and sales targets together with upper management and define strategies to achieve these targets

  • Generate leads

  • Work with the prospective accounts and convert to orders

  • Arrange and attend meetings with the customers(s)

  • Potentially meet with customers at their place of business

  • Write up bids and contracts and close on orders

  • Maintain and work with existing customer accounts

  • Communicate very closely with the General Manager and the team on all order details, being proactive in delivering information and details

  • Develop and continually improve personal estimating, sales methods and techniques
